Paul Devlin - ex Broncos
Wrestling coach Milton Dymock, any relation to Jim Dymock ?. Also, good to see Brett Stewart being retained. Surprised Cleal has still got a job, thought he'd walk after Des left.
Yep, Paul Devlin has had time at the Broncos, Souths and Parra. Very experienced and a good pick up I’d suggest.

So a couple of issues I see with the officially announced football dept staff:
1. No recognised High Performance Manager has been hired to replace Singe
2. We have Dymock's brother as a wrestling coach who specialises in womens footy plus a highly successful stint at the Dogs these last few years...not
3. Cleal is still on the payroll as Recruiter
4. Physio & Medical staff unchanged
The only one on that list that has had any real success is Flanagan. Not overly confident with this so called strong and experienced department

So our head coach is a former Coach of the Year and his assistant won a premiership. And that’s not enough?
The brains trust is excellent - now lets see how they can motivate and improve this squad's performance.
Realistically he has been defensive coach at 3 different outfits with not exactly the best record. Plus 3yrs as head coach with 2 of them not that successful either. So I would say 1 great year with a great team versus 4 relatively unsuccessful years is bordering on Baz's figures.
Dymock brothers too haven't coached any team to real success. And I would have thought replacing Singe would be a priority, but it's a little perplexing that they haven't actually hired anyone at all. May seems a direct swap for Novak and given our injury rehabilitation issues, would have thought some fresh personnel couldn't have hurt either.
My point is talking up how good this 'new' team is seems a little exaggerated and unnecessary. But all I want is to be proven spectacularly wrong.
