So what happened to his directive at the start of the season that there had to be a definite regrip of the ball? You can't regrip with your elbow. He just makes it up to suit what he wants

I'm still dirty about the Garrick try being overturned, there's obviously so many 'errors' by officials now it's easier to simply ignore them, the NRL has become a joke😡

We have to wait for it to happen to the roosters before uncle nick's bestie will come out and say it's not good enough and changes need to be made.

I think it was a 50/50 call to be honest. Saab original went for the ball but when he missed it he grabbed the play and sort of pulled him down a little but which could be interpreted as an attempted tackle.

I agree. If the referee had awarded a try then I don't think it would get overturned. But he said no try and then more or less did the bunkers job for them by saying what he saw and why it's a penalty.

It’s beyond ironic that JWH gets a 3 week rest for a high shot in yesterday’s game, that makes about 26 weeks of suspension in his career.

I tend to agree, I could have seen that either way depending on who I was supporting.

Yes, I think it should have been play on but if Saab had been the defending player then I probs would have wanted it called back...

Tbh, that is the type of play that I am happy to go with ref's call and leave the bunker out...

2 points and missing the top 8 could come down to this unacceptable error by the bunker. Wahs should be filthy. All Anusley could do is shrug his shoulders and expect fans to accept the decision with no accountability. This is a multi million dollar bunker with supposedly the best and latest equipment and yet muppets on big dollars continue to stuff up and cost teams potential points. I wish I could have a job like that where if I stuffed up every time nothing to see here just move on.

I wonder how long Annesley spends with the NRL's PR team to coach him on how to frame his explanations on why the wrong decisions were made so they deflect the blame away from the Refs and the bunker.
