Aloiai thoughts

Like most, thought he was great before his injury.
Hopefully gets back there with some fitness and important confidence. Looks to playing well down on both so hopefully a big game against the squeels sorts himself out

As much as he looks underdone, he really needs to aim up this week for both himself and the team.
He's played 100 games and should know what's expected of him especially against a former club.
Needs to lead with Marty as without TP, Sipley and Keppie it really tests our forward depth which was quite good until now.
Sirro is understandably underdone too and will probs play a different role to what he's used to.
I thought KDL was progressing well enough but nowhere near what we need without the others.

Garlic mayo needs to step up....now!

We can't afford to lose two in a row and doubts creep in going into the Canberra game.

What .. no Paseka or Sipley!! ... against that shiite pile Parra ...

Bloody Nora ... You would think in the year of our Lord, 2021 ... that even mungo props would have had at least a basic or rudimentary introduction to those most wonderful and useful processes of human endeavour ... Mathematics and Arithmetic ..

It's not rocket surgery Keppie ... how hard would it be for you dimwit footballers to just not root in Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec or Jan so that your offspring are not due at the business end of the season .. FFS. ... and don't get me started on why the dickens women want us there anyway .. talk about useless spectators ...

Need to stop listening to the wives and start thinking of the fans

I think he will show us this week as starting prop with Taupau, why we recruited him from the Tigers. I have him as odds on to really step up and dominate the Parra pack this weekend. I also think we will see his best game in Manly colours, and I am also hoping that Siro steps up as well as part of the prop rotation. It would be interesting to see Suli given a go off the bench as a forward, instead of De Luis. It won't happen of course but it could be worth a shot.

WOW that is a seriously small bench with 1 real forward and no prop. Scumatta pack will roll right over us with that bench. Could be a 30+ point flogging.

Remember Jake and Ola can play Middle when Lawton and Walker are on. With the new rules it’s a game of mobile forwards. Parra’s big guys are being found out right now.

Yep. Who would have thought with our prop depth earlier this year we would end up in this situation. That will be our bench but De Luis will be in as our only recognised prop. I would be tempted to bring Saddler in instead of Sironen, as he is also due back this round?

He was very good quality until injured, well up the leaderboard in our MVP.
He's only had a couple of short stints since resuming and I'm confident will be good as he gets back to match fitness. We'll need him against the big Eels pack and he'll do the job.
Yeah, you have to give the guy time to regain his fitness. He has only played 2 games back from injury. I thought he was one of our best players up until he got injured

I'm interested to read fellow Silvertails' thoughts on Josh's performances this season.
I'll admit I'm a little underwhelmed. I thought because the club fought so hard to recruit him that I would be 'whelmed'.
I think he has been very very good - besides the injury obviously. I felt he was a bit flat on Saturday though - his defence stung a couple of times with some nice hits but his hit up energy wasn't as it was. Maybe he just needs more game time but yes on Saturday night he was a 4/5 out of ten

He is coming back from 12 weeks on the sideline, he will be match fit by finals.

Actually thought he was are best forward in our first four losses of the season.

Before he got injured he was easily Manly's best forward, consistently had the highest run meters and was playing with high energy, doing plenty of hit ups, a lot of those hard hits as well. He will be fine, he will get back to his best over the next 4 weeks

Agreed - he was very very good before the injury

The dude was one of our best until he got hurt... Has been a bit down since he came back but that's to be expected after a few months off...
