Dessies presser was interesting. He was fired up at the start and looked like he wanted to belt someone/anyone really. Foz tried to lay low. Then Dessie pulled a very nice move, carefully distancing himself from any 10k fine, going onto a nicely worded rant about the sad state of officialdom and their lack of confidence in making standard calls. I could go on, but it’s late. Hopefully some half decent journo runs with what Desmond has said.

Surely we can bring back some discretion with these obvious accidental face taps that have little to no force… even if the force is moderate, make it a 6A. Save the penalties for the reckless and above.
