Bit depressing round here lately, but I’m choosing to hold hope for a late finals push. We need:
Dogs W
Dragons W
Titans W
Broncs W
And of course Manly W

We get these and it will set up an interesting next home game v the Phins.

The other results can't keep going our way. We are still only a chance after 3 straight losses due to this factor. We don't deserve to be playing semi final football and if we get beat by the Tigers this week we won't be. A lot going against us this game. I expecting the Tigers to get the chocolates by a margin of 12. Last year Newcastle made the 8 on differential finishing on 30 points. Last year we finished on 33 points with a differential +113. This year if we managed to win the last four games we would finish on 32 points. In my view 32 points will be required to make the 8 this year. Hardly an improvement on last year. Bearing in mind we have only beaten St George at their home ground 3 times since 1999 and the Dolphins and the Warriors will be hard to beat even at Brookie so it is highly unlikely that we make the 8.

They've been agonisingly close the last 2 games, maybe this time they'll get the win.

I know it's a tragic ( Tragic Eagle ), Eagledare2dream here to cheer u up.

- Mathematically all the journos said even the Tige & Drag can still make it, and we're 2pts ahead of them and better F/A.

- Phins's got Bronc away and the horse will b fighting for the top4 knowing the Pants got tough games ahead playing Storm, Raids, Dogs, Drag at Win Stadium. Don't forget all Pants games are away from home not BlueBet also without Yeo, and also knowing Warr are not playing well.

Then they play us at Brookie, the Titans trying to avoid the spoon, the Raiders fighting for the Minor Premiership.

- Chicken's got Dogs and the chihuahua will b fighting for the Minor trophy, Eels away and the eels would love nothing more than to knock them out of the final, Storms at AAMI park fighting for the Minor Premiership, the Bunnies with Walker back on deck would love to knock them out and themselves fighting to avoid the spoon. Everybody hates the chooks.

So if we win this week and beat the dolphins next week, we will be on 28pts while phins/chook b on 26pts. Both have a tougher draw than us, Phins got Broncos & Raiders, Chooks got Dogs & Storms.

We got phins & a warrior team in bad form, only team above us and both at a pack house Brookie, It's our to lose and Tragic indeed if we do Tragic Eagles, but Eagledare2dream my feathers friend.
