All NRL Games [Round 24, 2025]

A LOT of the problem though is the quality of the kicks.

You make a lot more work for yourself landing the ball 5 metres out like DCE regularly does when kicking for Saab.

And as for what @HK_Eagle said about using our weapons.....I can't actually remember the last time we put up an attacking kick for Turbo to chase close to their line.
It’s like DCE and Saab are suburbs away from each other in terms of communication on those kicks when they do happen.

Now that is the very definition of pulling their pants down.

Well done Harry Grant.

Very good cheating as well by running into the guy when he knew he couldn't make it to Cleary on the field goal.

Grant smarter than the idiots in the bunker and a great dummy half play to win the match.

That said. A good loss for Penrith to lose after 9 straight wins.

How was it cheating?? By the letter of the rules, Leota was in an illegal position as technically the only ones allowed to be directly in front of the potential kicker are the one who played the ball, and the dummy half. The rest of the attack are meant to be out of the kicking line, and Leota wasn't.

Then there is also the fact that Leota moved about half a metre or so to his left in an action that can only be interpreted as him playing the role of a blocker because he could clearly see Grant coming.

For once Klein got it 100% correct.

What a great game. That Harry Grant block penalty was pathetic. Storm will win it this year and then not shed a single player of substance despite making two grand finals in a row and adding Utoikamanu. They literally never have to shed players. And if and when they do, they'd replace the ones they let go with better ones. Wish it was us.

Harry White did a Mitchell Mosses tonight, he actually changes course and runs around the stationary Riff player then on the way through throws out his arm and self flops to the ground. No wonder Clearly was pissed.

Not after a team makes a long line break on the tackle before though. Leota was on the opposite side to Cleary's kicking foot. Grant ran into him. Great game though.

Yes, against the rule, but a sh1t rule, in my opinion. Sure, take out the ridiculous blockers standing shoulder to shoulder by the dummy half, but I think an attacking player should be able to stand absolutely anywhere as long as they are 10m or more back from the ruck. They insist on ignoring offside and markers not square during gp, so evens things up a bit.

I beg to differ. Leota could be said to have moved out of the way of Grant if anything. Grant ran around the left on purpose to crash into him, however the most direct route to Cleary and his right foot kick was to the right.
Grant milked, plain and simple.

That's fine thou. Agree to disagree.
