I’m in HK, Eagle. Get back to Oz about once a year to see fam (usually Xmas). Thus, I never see us play live (last time was down at AAMI against the Storm quite a few years ago now).

Whats the pay TV provider in HK to watch the NRL.

Whats the pay TV provider in HK to watch the NRL.

I watch it through WatchNRL online. Quality is quite good and no complaints.

There was a golden period during the 00’s where we had the International ABC channel on the local cable package that included free NRL, AFL, and union. These days, only a few AFL games are broadcast on that channel.

Interesting side note, the local cable network tried to make the ABC a paid extra one year back in those days. I contacted them and went off (as I knew they received the ABC as a free service to expats here in HK). They literally changed that policy immediately and retreated.

Hmm… there is definitely a shift in the mood and atmosphere… let alone the horrible post-COVID economic slump. While my life is still relatively comfortable on a day to day basis, I am much more mindful of publishing, posting or even saying anything critical of HK or China…. “I’m sorry Xi Ping if you’re on this forum… love your work”

Thanks Eagle. By life journey I’m probably a bit outside the box and isolated… but we all need to connect with fellow humans. I can be a bit acerbic at times and rely on humour a lot, but I have a heart and want a sense of belonging as much as the next delusional Manly supporter 😊
