Wish we were “struggling” as bad as the Dogs. The line about them only beating poor teams has been going around for a while and I assume that’s what’s being repeated here, but for mine, they have a style of play that will make them extremely competitive against any team. And it doesn’t take much insight to realise a 14 nil deficient is nothing in today’s game, and almost guarantees a reversal in the second half. I’ll keep backing them and taking the money.

Well coached, a simple, effective and consistent style of play, and a never say die attitude across the team. All things we could/should be emulating.

I thought Steve Price looked like he'd eaten Peter Tunks, so I'm glad to learn Tunksie is alive and well.

Price was always a fantastic player. I think his son (who would also be Brent Tate's nephew) might be at the Cowboys now.

Just turned this game off I'm not feeling the standard this season will catch our game but may drop kayo as the standard in most games is no better than park footy. Calling it Super Saturday doesn't make it so

He was also over-ruled for two incorrect awarded tries where he missed the knock ons.

I think he’s doing a George Costanza, and doing the opposite. The NRL has historically been trigger happy with calling knock ons whenever a ball hits the ground (even backwards). And the NRL has a good history of reaming the Wahs with rough calls… enter Peter Constanza Gough.
