If anyone is in the market for a digital camera Aldi has a model going on sale today for $449.

8.1 Mp, 512Mb SD card and all the attachments you will need.

I bought the 6.1 MP version about 10 months ago and it is miniature and takes the most fantastic pictures. This one looks identical but bigger capacity. Same camera in a Canon or similiar would be $800 ++.

I highly recommend it for a carry around, snap and shoot, with lots of features.

Whats the optical zoom?

3 X optical plus 4 x digital. Same as the one you saw me with byso but higher MPs plus a much larger SD card.

It's a good price for such high MP.

What type of SD card is it.

I have microdisk for my phone and 512 is the biggest currently although 1 gig should be coming soon, you can get some a bit bigger though

Don't know Fluffy - the MD from yesterday has been recycled!

I think you may find its a 8.1 MP with only a much smaller effective pixel image.

My camera is 12MP however only 4 are effective.
