A bit of news from over here

Apparently there was somebody on the radio this morning (may have been Richie Barnett) who said he has watched the Warriors train and they have returned from Melbourne really, really flat

2 big games in 2 weeks could be taking their toll possibly, you would expect them to get themselves up later on in the week though, but if we can start well, we may just take the steam out of them

Flying to and from Auckland takes it toll over a season, and with the finals intensity I imagine that is heightened. Flying to Bris, Sydney, Melbourne and then Sydney again in a month? It would make anyone weary.

But this is a grand final. Give them a couple of red bulls and they'll all be ready for action.

there was an article in the SMH that said the warriors had dome 16,000km in the finals series alone, having played in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Surely all that flying and playing sudden death football in such hostile environments must take some edge off you. At the same time Manly have been kicking back in their own beds for well over a month, "resting" players and having weeks off

Just think of all the duty free booze that they have been getting stuck into, with any luck (not Michael) they will be hungover on Sunday

Yep bash them & grind them out in the 1st 20,then we just wait for them to play their(error riddled) catch up style ..

I think the Warriors had played theri grand-final last week.

I don't think they'll get up again for the real thing.

Its also the season for people getting bad colds (like Choc and T Rex this week), and the Warriors are prime candidates for coming down quick with a bad virus esp because of living in air cond hotel rooms (like now) and having all that strength sapping travel & jet lag over last month and playing in diff capital cities then back to NZ for a few days...hot cold wet dry etc etc

On sunday morning when they wake up they'll all feel completely buggered and just want to stay in bed not the best preparation
