Agree....expected more from Lussick....especially this style of footy with him also a half in the juniors.
Thought Kelly looked good second game and also Lane was a handful.
The player most impressive was Dylan Walker who looked super sharp and Uate was strong also.
Compared to Cows, Eels and Brisbane need to improve by 12 points to compete.

Uate looked great - old school tackle busts and more energy than his past 3 seasons - as 1 would hope....

I have never been a fan of his however he looked okay. The most annoying thing is after he plays the ball he turns his back on play and walks back out to the wing. Hope Baz notices notices this.......

Well, if we're looking for dark clouds instead of silver linings:
1. We made the quarter finals of the Nines last year, too. Look how that ended up.
2. We found yet another way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory against Penrith.
3. We still can't beat Parramatta.

Well the good thing , no season ending injuries!!

Despite not liking the format I'm pleased with the outcome, watched a replay of the Eels v Manly game ( on the Sunny coast in the caravan and didn't bother chucking in the Sat TV), good to see some of the new names.
