Really well done to all the boys tonight..!! 🙂 Go the mighty Sea Eagles..!!

And not wanting to take away from such a great win, I do tend to agree with some of what Tooves said though.........
(Taken from article/report titled 'Manly shuts out Wests Tigers 26-0' by Steve Jancetic AAP.)

"It was one of the ugliest games I've seen in a long time," Manly coach Geoff Toovey said.

"Our defence was good ... but if we played some other teams, they would have made us pay very badly for that.

"We don't want to be doing that (defending so much) ... it's going to catch up with you eventually."

It's interesting how few fans put Ballin into the top three. I think that's because he produces an incredible 80-minute performance every week. He holds the 'middle' together, always makes the most tackles, is as tough as teak yet only quite small,is almost always ready at dummy half, and rarely makes a mistake.
He was one of very few players last night who didn't drop the ball, yet he handles more than anyone.
I'm sure he is appreciated by his teammates, and would just like to put in a plug for him.
And, no, I'm not in any way related to him - just an admirer of his on and off field efforts.
