It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon from memory. I was Brookie to enjoy it
Me too. I was there on the Hill with a mate who is a big Dragons fan. What a great afternoon that was.

Saints played in the previous two gfs as well . All the sweeter and a shame we didnt get to smash Brisbane the following week.

I sat on the hill with my mates 3 of us Manly fans 1 Merge fan. It was very, very fun to watch with him.

After the game we were driving up Warringah Rd when his car broke down. He had to get out of the car with his saints jersey on whilst the car was spitting out all sorts of stuff from under the bonnet.

Can you imagine the abuse he copped from all the Manly fans walking back up the hill.

To this day I will never forget it. Ridges field goal of his left foot from 40 out was probably the best I’ve ever seen. He had a great game that day.

Wait a sec...that is the same memory I have...do we know each other?

Only one close to this was when we beat them in the sevens by some ridiculous score

My mate was a dragon and in hospital after a heart attack

Got the final I left the pub and went to hospital to watch the game

The alarms on his machine ringing about being in cardio failure precisely matched our TRIES that day

To this day he blames his whole fragile health on that game

My response is well I hope so and hope you have passed on kesseons to the Red VD

1994 Coca-Cola World Seven's Final.

Manly 44 def. St George 12.

Gotta love that an old Manly boy, Phil Blake, was the only real threat St George had in that game hehehe.

A Pepsi sponsored side takes home $100,000 of Coca-Cola money. Didn't that cause a stir at the time.

Watched it from the hill also, awesome game and I had a mate that was a dragons supporter also, he would've been crying himself to sleep that night hahahaha.
