That comes directly back to the coaching staff.

The way I see it is this:
- if it’s a happy club and the players are right behind Seibs, he does not deserve to be sacked on results. The DCE saga and injuries to the pack account for that.
However…
- if reports are true and a number of key players are not on board with Seibs, and support staff don’t like to work with him (all rumours), then he should be replaced with someone that is going to have a positive impact on culture. We aren’t winning anything with Seibs if he’s on the nose.

Yep this is my exact sentiment too. If you take our injury toll from this year and put the equivalent on to just about any other club, they would have similar problems.

My concern, though, is the number of very winnable games that we meekly lost. But I do think that DCE's circus was a key part of that. He single handedly lost us a lot of games this year and that's even before you factor in the damage to the squad's morale.

But if Siebold is not galvanising the players he needs to be replaced.

When Seibs is replaced his replacement will be no one special or capable of taken us to a premiership.
The old saying you need to spend money to make money and our owner isn't willing to put the funds in to be a top tier club.

The place is toxic from the top down and anyone worthy isn't going to sign on unless it's a big payday which will never be offered.
We need a coach like Bellamy, Robinson or Cleary who isn't put under stupid KPIs and given the funds and control they need.
Those days went when Delmerge lost control of the club.

I don’t know if i subscribe to the theory of our problem is not enough money being spent. What exactly would more money buy us? A better coach?? Perhaps?? We can’t spend more than the salary cap on players. We’ve got a pretty decent set up now with regard to training facilities. I just don’t see what a whole lot more money is going to buy. We used to win premierships training out of a doghouse in Narrabeen. To me it’s a coaching/attitude thing - and having the right players at the right time.

Yeah, I don’t think we have the forwards to be more than 6-12th in the comp, regardless of DCE and injuries. So that Seibs didn’t get us challenging for a premiership is no surprise to me. However, if (I say ‘if’ because it’s all rumours) he is on the nose, we’ll struggle to ever get anywhere better than what we’ve got now, so we should explore other options.

But Weirdler and Slothfield both said he was on the nose, and they would never make up a story !!!!!!!!
