Austin Dias starts in the front row for the Panthers this week. Obviously they saw something in him that Manly didnt, even if he is on the fringes.

I'd say they saw his potential right after the 16 first graders they were resting moved out of the way.

Any available info says it's that number. The games best wingers barely top $600k

This was before his contract extension was signed in June 2024.

So I think it’s pretty safe to say he would have got a bit of a pay bump, and that $350k figure would be absolute minimum.

Still think he’d be on ~$425k

If we don’t have cap space after dce (and his once club exemption) aloaia, croker, Sipley, jazz and whoever else move on, someone has violently screwed the pooch

We need to get rid of a winger/centre (Saab or
Garrick) and our forwards need some fresh blood, a genuine lock, a second rower and a prop or two

We do not need Jake turnip (zaidas should have that position in the squad)

Maybe Saab and his manager has a realistic assessment of his general game abilities and consistency level in that anywhere around that 320 - 350 K range over a longer term would seem quite reasonable
Probably , like most contracts , a bit of ratcheting up once a higher cap kicks in

More like his time in the N R L overall to date with mandatory after game videos showing his good moments and not so good moments
Generally a fan but would really like to see just a bit more effort making tackles at times , has a solid enough build now .
Still needs a little bit more awareness in defensive reads and sure that he is currently being under utilized taking bombs on the opposition's tryline - in goal
