Spot onSigning Blake Wilson to me sounds like Au Revoir Garrick
Garrick probably made this call know he didn't want to play under Seibold anymore.Who is making the decision? Siebold? Recruitment Manager? Agent? Garrick?
… I don’t think anyone is making a decision. If they made the decision to drop DCE as captain and give the role to Jake that would have provided leadership and direction. It would have sent out a message you may be contracted to manly but if you don’t want to put the effort in you are free to leave.Who is making the decision? Siebold? Recruitment Manager? Agent? Garrick?
Yep,players like him and Brown at their age and body condition, should only ever be one year at a time signings and if they’re not happy with that or get a better offer elsewhere,so be it.Brown is the perfect example.Yes,he did end up with injuries but he wasn’t exactly setting the world on fire prior to that and his cult status masked his formSiosiua Taukeiaho WWOS reporting that a new deal is almost done with an extension at the club, don’t get me wrong I think he has done enough to earn another year, though there is a bit to be learned from extending Nathan Brown for two years.
Not this old chestnut again 😆Corey Waddell is only here because he is now part of the Trbojevic family and has a contract to 2027
Would you add Jrbo to that list? TKO has been one of our better forwards. Jrbo hasn’t?Yep,players like him and Brown at their age and body condition, should only ever be one year at a time signings and if they’re not happy with that or get a better offer elsewhere,so be it.Brown is the perfect example.Yes,he did end up with injuries but he wasn’t exactly setting the world on fire prior to that and his cult status masked his form
Yes,definitely. But his current contract is at a different stage to those other two and all reports are that his next contract offer will only be a 1 year extensionWould you add Jrbo to that list? TKO has been one of our better forwards. Jrbo hasn’t?
He is a much better extension for us than Brown was. In this instance recruitment has got it right.Siosiua Taukeiaho WWOS reporting that a new deal is almost done with an extension at the club, don’t get me wrong I think he has done enough to earn another year, though there is a bit to be learned from extending Nathan Brown for two years.
I agree TKO has been one of our most consistent forwards this year but to be fair the bar has been set pretty low in 2025 by the othersWould you add Jrbo to that list? TKO has been one of our better forwards. Jrbo hasn’t?
No disagreement on form for me, the lessons learned from Browns two year extension are more about the injuries and the age of the player as @Nordburg highlighted, TKO does deserve an extension but for me a one year extension. He is a much better extension for us than Brown was. Oh okay. So it's a two year extension. No disagreement on form for me, the lessons learned from Browns two year extension are more about the injuries and the age of the player as @Nordburg highlighted, TKO does deserve an extension but for me a one year extension.
Could be in the article it said it would be at least another year.Oh okay. So it's a two year extension.
Wait until Klemmer gets hereDads army
To be honest we should be able to manage his minutes with a 30 minute bench stint if we have some luck with injuries. He shouldn’t be our starting prop but he’s performed admirably considering. No disagreement on form for me, the lessons learned from Browns two year extension are more about the injuries and the age of the player as @Nordburg highlighted, TKO does deserve an extension but for me a one year extension.
Manly signing ageing middles who used to be good goes back to 2015, when we got Willie Mason. Since then there's been Myles, Mateo, Woods, Brown, TKOWait until Klemmer gets here
Brown was useless in the battering ram role he was given by the coach. He has in my opinion an underrated passing game close to the ruck seen him put guys thru gaps with deft passes. Should have been players lock for 20 minutes a gameYep,players like him and Brown at their age and body condition, should only ever be one year at a time signings and if they’re not happy with that or get a better offer elsewhere,so be it.Brown is the perfect example.Yes,he did end up with injuries but he wasn’t exactly setting the world on fire prior to that and his cult status masked his form
