Stay fit? Lodge looked cooked just taking his jacket off prior to coming onto the field.
Not sure where they’re getting a “decent forward” from,given the availability of such a player and the cap space

Like most years I suspect we will recruit a player before June 30th. Most clubs allow a little cap space for contingency reasons. Some here rate our forward pack the worst in the competition so if this is true we should be able to find someone that we could say is “decent “ considering the bar is no very high….

It's a pity both NRL and Manly think its none of our business how many players we have signed in our top 30.
The club site shows 32 faces ... but that includes Lodge and CheeKam, so...?
The official NRL signings tracker is even worse, it says we still have Condon, Hodgson, Parker etc (!)

Talau and Clayton off contract so currently open to offers, both could easily play regular NRL elsewhere. Also Raymond and Schoupp off contract.
Schoupp is interesting, heard he had a run at 2nd row recently, could become the new model small forward that is in vogue?
With Fogarty coming not even certain that Garrick will remain our goalkicker??
Turbo, Lehi and Koula are must-keep, while Saab is contracted till 2029 (!)
Interesting to see how the cards fall.

Actually don’t think Garrick would have a dummy spit at all! Probably less pressure on him would help his game! BTW Garrick is kicking at 80%, Fogarty at 79%…..nice problem to have!

Understand, clubs due to injury and suspension can use well over 40 players during the season. Lodge is definitely signed to our feeder club , I suspect CheeKam is as well!

Hopefully the club makes decisions on the contracts of Jake, Turbo & Garrick before it gets to November. Will be good to know how much money is going to be in the chest & get to work on signing players immediately for 27

ok that would be weird considering Staggs game has gone downhill for a while, plus the fact outside backs is where we have depth.

Why on earth, would we spend our cap on him, we are stacked with options at centre, Koula, Garrick, Talau, Turbo assuming Lehi moves to one permanently, beside that his not far from being washed, I don’t get that if it’s true, 2 years ago it would of been a good signing, just cant follow that, big if for mine.

EDIT: This guy works at the Roar and Neds... Hardly a reliable source. It's about the same as me receiving word that Gifty is coming out of retirement to play wing.

This article was before Schuster was let go. Apparently been chasing him for a while if it’s true. Wouldnt be a good move if he is offered anything like broncos were rumoured earlier in the year of $2.4m over 3 seasons

Not a massive Staggs fan myself just noting it's out and about - we have tried to sign him the last two times he has come off contract by my recollection and went super aggressive trying to recruit him when he first burst onto the scene way above what the Broncos offered but he didn't bite. Was was posted yesterday btw.

Anyway time will tell - I'd much prefer forwards but.....

He is definitely in the league leaders of adding some "extra mustard to a tackle"

I wouldn’t say that mate, he has double Garricks line breaks this season while playing 3 less games. He’s a great player with the strength + speed to beat almost any centre 1 on 1 but I do agree he hasn’t been close to his best this year along with many others at broncos.

I’m not sure what Madge is doing but there are plenty on that team that would benefit by getting out of there. If it was a $500-600k deal I’d be getting it done personally but a struggling team like tigers will end up overspending
