(Updated: Thursday, 3 March 2022)

The Sea Eagles are set to be without back-rower Haumole Olakau'atu for their round one clash with Penrith after he suffered an elbow injury in the pre-season trial loss to Canberra.

Martin Taupau (back) and Dylan Walker (ankle) also suffered injuries at Central Coast Stadium but Hasler was confident both would be right for round one.

Manly Sea Eagles

Haumole Olakau'atu (elbow, TBC)
Martin Taupau (back, round 1)
Dylan Walker (ankle, round 1)
Josh Aloiai (suspension, round 4)
Josh Schuster (ankle, round 6)

However, from the NRL Casualty Ward, Manly hub page, there are slight variations to the return periods:

  • Andrew Davey (Knee, Round 1)
  • Martin Taupau (Back, Round 1)
  • Haumole Olakau’atu (Elbow, Round 2)
  • Josh Aloiai (Suspension, Round 4)
