Storm are home.

Unlike most people I am keen to see them win. Our rivalry over the years adds to my fascination for them.

We will never see a better combination in the NRL than Cam Smith and Craig Bellamy. The Storm are the ultimate professionals and have finally mastered the balance between structure and skill/flair - with them being far too structured in 2017.

Hate them as most do, you have to respect how good they are as a club and I'm unsure if I'll ever see a better (and definitely won't see a more accomplished) player than Cameron Smith.

Cam Smith and his team have just figured out the game better than anyone else. Granted some of their tactics are a bit grubby... but their professionalism, game management, ability to turn poor players into greats, ability to score tries from kicks and score from anywehre (the list goes on) is second to none and undoubtedly outweighs their 'grubby' 'cheating' tactics.

If you can't wrap Cameron Smith as a great player you will never be able to give anyone a wrap as he is one of the best the game has ever seen

Then again if the Raiders start well then that match falls into a grind and as we saw from the game tonight it was 10-6 after the Storm's opening 20 minutes in favour of the Raiders (who were playing like donkeys). Im death-riding them hard but if the Panthers (or I suppose Rabbits) start ok against them, the storm are much more vulnerable in a grinding contest and will have to rely on individual brilliance. Penrith, on the other hand, are more of a team-unit and believe they'll start well against the storm

Storm went into cruise control. Was never in doubt

So, onto the next prelim , fingers crossed for the Panthers tonight , would be great to see them make the GF after the year they’ve had although in seeing how the Drizzle played last night it’s hard to see any team getting past them in the big one BUT it’ll all depend who gets the first 5-6 “ 6 agains “ in a row , if it’s the Choccy Soldiers ( or Souths ) then that sets up that team for the win.
