NINE,GEM and FOx share broadcast rights

The Pacific Invitational has proved to be a cultural clash like no other, full of power, passion and national pride. In this festival of footy, the Lebanon Cedars will take to the field for the very first time against the mighty warriors of Fiji Bati.

For a full day of footy get there early to witness the PNG Orchids take on Fiji in the first all-Pacific women's test match, before the PNG Kumuls battle it out against the brave of Toa Samoa.

Being played at the historic Leichardt Oval on Saturday 22nd June it's the best way to kick off your weekend and be there to experience an atmosphere and event unique like no other.

Jorge has now swapped to play for Samoa (his father is Tongan, his mother was born in NZ but her family is Samoan).

Edit: as silly as this sounds, because international eligibility rules include parentage all the way back to grandparents, Jorge was actually eligible to play for 4 international teams, if he was selected of course. He could have played for Australia, Tonga, Samoa or New Zealand. I mean, if I played at that level, because of where I was born and family history, I could have played for Australia (born here), England (mum was born there), Scotland (paternal grandfather), Wales (maternal grandfather) or even Great Britain.....though there would only ever be one choice.

I find the whole international eligibility criteria for RL a complete farce - especially all this to and from between, NZ, Samoa and Tonga. You pick one and stick with them in my opinion.
