Lolohea has signed with the Cowboys. There goes the Tigpies hopes of luring him to Concord.

Milford this morning inked a four-year deal with the club that will keep him in the Broncos’ jersey until at least the end of season 2021.

Souths have their man in their sights

You may have heard the loud whisper that star utility back Dylan Walker is keen for a return to Souths.

One of Walker’s third party agreements at the Sea Eagles has apparently fallen through, leaving the former Blues and Test centre out of pocket.

Walker apparently also misses his mates at Souths - the club where he played since he was a little kid - before switching to Manly last year.

The Rabbitohs are struggling for depth in the outside backs and see Walker as the perfect fit to give them more strike power out wide.

But I'm not sure the Bunnies will get their way.

Manly don’t want to lose Walker, who has been in good form this season, and he is really enjoying his football and life under Trent Barrett.

Walker remains under contract to the Sea Eagles for next season and those in the know are hopeful the TPA situation is sorted soon.

Hoppa looks like he'll stay put
The departure of CEO Raelene Castle won't stop Canterbury's Will Hopoate from penning a new deal with the club.

Hopoate, who is off-contract at the end of this season, had attracted great interest from several clubs including premiers Cronulla.

Hopoate was eager to join the Sharks, but felt indebted to the Dogs for the way in which they allowed him to miss Sunday matches last year due to his religious beliefs.

The problem for Hopoate is, the new deal with the Dogs could take time, given the NRL are refusing to lodge any contracts until Des Hasler sheds some big names from his books.

Sad if true as BJ has always been good alue

Lawrence to finish career in the Old Dart

Back-to-form Manly prop Brenton Lawrence looks set to leave the Sea Eagles at the end of the season to finish his career in England.

Lawrence, 32, is playing the best football of his career after overcoming a back injury that plagued him in recent years.

The tall prop is off contract and while Manly would be willing to give him a 12-month extension, he knows he can get a lucrative two or three-year deal in the Old Dart.

A model citizen off the field, Lawrence has been a consistent performer for the Sea Eagles this season and the club will miss his probing runs up the middle of the defence.

From the SMH:

Manly miss their man

The Panthers have managed to stave off a big offer from Manly to secure the future of promising rookie back-rower Corey Harawira-Naera beyond 2017. Harawira-Naera has agreed to terms with the Panthers but the club is yet to announce his signature. The Wests Tigers had been circling around Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards, however the club won't be letting him go. If the Matt Moylan five-eighth experiment works as well as it did against Canterbury on Sunday, Edwards could well be the long term Penrith fullback. Moylan had been desperate to get his shot in the halves for weeks, however the Panthers were reluctant to move him. They finally did it last week and it could be the move that defines their season.
