Have loved watching Wolf,Kite, Joe and George over the years and they have given wonderful service to Manly but in reality we've got a new generation we need to blood now. Hiku, Gutherson,Sao, Trbojevic, Chee Kam are the next generation and they will be ready for first grade in the next year or 2. We have spent most of our cap on Snake,Killer,Matai,Foz,DCE,Gift,Ballin,King and Choc there isn't much left for top liners plus they are in their final contracts as well. We need new blood to learn the culture from these legends and what it means to play for Manly.

Yep, there's been plenty of boom youngsters that were made out to be the next big thing that never quite made it. It took a while for Gifty to bulk up and be comfortable playing at that weight and I reckon MCK needs a few years too but he can only do that if he stays injury free which is his problem at the moment. Our recruiters obviously saw something in him but they don't get them all right.
As for Wolf, unless he's being unreasonable with asking price, I'd be doing what I can to keep him, he's shown what he can do when he's injury free and 2013 has been his best in my opinion.

Chee Kam was a real gun in the 20's and he's plenty big, don't worry about that. With a solid off-season (which he couldn't get this year) I hope he can get over his injuries, because if so you will find out why his signing was a real coup for us.

We did that already, Whare, but it became clear Killer and Matai weren't ageing fast enough so he moved on. We'll get someone when we need them.

Great players yes but not a specialist centre.
Both are fullbacks good for filling in yes but not a long term solution.
