15 out of 16 clubs . . .

The Who

Journey Man
voted to "save the integrity of the game." The cynic in me believes that Illawarra was the only dissenting voice.
Do you reckon that's because they truly believe in letting justice run its course (as I do) or is it that they will be a weaker team without de Belin?
And what of the other 15. Do you believe they did it for the betterment of the game, or was it because they knew Illawarra would be easier to beat without de Belin?

Dragons contract DeBelin, so they would have been sued by him straight away @

I wouldn’t instantly assume it is the Dragons. My first thought was Politis as he said he was against it a couple of weeks ago.

FRom Slothfield

From the moment the heavy hitters (Roosters’ Nick Politis and Melbourne Storm’s Bart Campbell) spoke up to support tougher sanctions Beattie and Greenberg knew they had to act.

The Storm were very vocal on this and hence the interest in standing down players becomes the no.1 talking point in the game...so what have they got brewing that they need a major distraction to take place...

The other clubs all just fell into line because they’ve learnt Greenberg is a vindictive **** and there’s no point making an enemy out of him.
