So the top players will go to about $1.5 ...

Don't think it is officially announced yet ... NRL still in talks with the players Assoc over issues ..

Why would any promising halfback consider playing for Manly over the next three years, at least?
Sullivan from Illawarra has asked for a release because Hunt is blocking his way. He would never consider coming to Manly because of the DCE roadblock.

Does anyone know if DCEs contract extension has been registered. As he already has another year i thought contracts cant be registered to november 1. Not sure if extensions are exempt from that.

Any decent contract would have a clause the increases the $$$ by any future salary cap increase for any year/s covered by the contract.

If you are talking the minimum for a squad member, as it stands now it's 130k.
