    2026 recruitment & retention

Some good points and though a few gave Bozo stick for repeating his thoughts.....he was very accurate in pinpointing these facts as an issue for a once proud club

All NRL Games [Round 24, 2025]

Great 1st half...sloppier 2nd half but high tempo Can't stand either but Roosters known for buying big names had some great young forwards, so their recruiting deserves credit also Couple of things How 2 Dogs not binned for high shots, the rules have changed within the 25 season Also Savala...

    Manly Attacking Formula ?

The amount of time Storm play the ball off the mark is 100% of the time....fact is they only get pulled up a few times a game....it automatically puts the defence offside and markers out of play....really a Massive advantage, but as stated, the players are trained to get any advantage and its...

    Manly Attacking Formula ?

The tackle six kicking game in the attacking zone, looks like someone has added no spice, or other times emptied the salt bottle....

    Manly Attacking Formula ?

The games where Manly have excelled, has been a more energetic effort, winning contacts and quick play balls....especially through the middle. These magic shifts are a great option, but unless the middle is comprimised, they don't work and if the foundations are laid, they will work plenty, even...

    Manly Attacking Formula ?

Thing is Tigers "force" offloads, with risky offloads Needs to be done like Storm or Dogs on the back of good go forward and winning quick play balls to create momentum Top teams will do this come finals and this along with unstructured individuals like Munster will break games open and decide...

    2026 recruitment & retention

Lodge came our first couple games at Manly like a Beast.... unfortunately after not 1...but 2 injuries....just not the same and on the slide... the only thing I disagree about as a bloke who is far from a Ldge fan, at least shows a bit of fire in the belly unlike most forwards in this current...

    Manly Attacking Formula ?

Pretty much agree, though offloads and 2nd phase are a must against your structured defensive sides like Melbourne, Penrith and Dogs....fact is we are so far off this level, the more fundamental areas starting at dummy half, needs to be improved before thinking about the riskier stuff, as...

    Manly Attacking Formula ?

Usually agree but brooks took em on way more and we were better for it .... problem was, not off second phase or defence compromised so closed him down ....but in general 200% fair call

    Manly Attacking Formula ?

Firstly, there's so much wrong defensively, but just prefer thoughts on attack this thread. I feel the expansive attack on early tackles from long range, is a great attribute with the likes of Saab, Koula, Turbo and more to utilise 1 of the quickest NRL back lines. Unfortunately this same style...

    2026 recruitment & retention

There is money for upgrades outside of relying on Aloiai, there are certain players the club are waiting for, but aside from that factor.....Fermor and Mooney are the types you would want the club looking at in terms of good quality options.

    2026 recruitment & retention

The obvious go to forwards include Mooney and Fermor....how Klemmer is even mentioned can't be correct.....there is still interest in a player on 2 (forwards) from Qld clubs which hopefully heats up come November, but the way things are going at Manly, it's like joining a circus

    The Manly DNA

I seen Tooves as pretty good - he called for accountability...and investigations !! Such a passionate bloke, you could feel his desire for a Manly win every and he didn't go for the excuse book. Not sure he was everyones cup of tea, but personally, I find him a coach I would want to rip in for...

Coach Seibold thoughts so far.... so good

I know that mate, but in this case I knew there was a Seibold coach thread "or 8", but felt this was a differing view not about his coaching, more a key point between "the players " and Seibold that was now decsending into Mestrovs involvement also....pretty major differences imo I think I done...

Coach Seibold thoughts so far.... so good

Because you have more time to read every thread, does not mean those who don't are disrespect....but now you mention it, I pointed out the "7 minute Seibold chat" which was not repeating anything and 7 other Silvertails liked or appreciated this as something "new", so you obviously didn't read...

Coach Seibold thoughts so far.... so good

Probably was, but I don't read every thread and live on here, obviously a few do like the 'Dee Why Eagle" @:smirk: , just thought this was a pretty key factor in the divisions going on between players and coach and worth bringing up - oh damn, I just posted instead of starting a new thread

Coach Seibold thoughts so far.... so good

This media noise has been building a while now and the way the team has performed....indicates there is a lack of harmony and the results speak even louder. It's unfair to play guessing games, but at the same time, anyone who feels there's no problems behind the scenes has their head in the...

    The Manly DNA

I'm actually happy to hear about some "crisis" talks....I was starting to think the fans seem to care about these results more than those playing and making the decisions .... The interesting thing now, will be the response over the next couple of games at Brookie, because talk can be cheap and...

    Lehi deserves the 1

Noise is getting pretty loud that next start it's Hoopa to fullback, with Turbo to centres - 100% back this move, just hope these ordinary forwards can lay some sort of platform

Storm make BIG 4 work - we don't

Every club has a few players on "big money" in various positions Storm it's the "spine"....Storm has the 1,6,7 and 9 and build around that with great success around that and for some reason (maybe trainers and systems in place), they have very few injuries apart from Pappenhuyzen more recently
