    Pretty sure Max was a Souths fan. And Brace is a top bloke & top professional. I've had the pleasure of working with him & he's one of the best. Loves the Manly/Norths banter & takes it in good humout. He'll be more even minded towards Manly than most of the overs on the coverage.

    There is no doubt that these lads have endless potential and all could be anything... The biggest question and doubt for me is...do we have the coach to harness it? Time will tell but Trent is starting from a long way back in my assumptions.

    Surely at this stage Manly are aware of what is happening with Matai and Snake? I would be extremely disappointed if they don't have a clear idea by now and know what caps space they have to play with to find replacements. I would be stunned if there aren't calls and negotiations happening...

    Weren't there rumours of us having a crack at Manu Ma'u too? He hasn't re-signed at the Snakes so I'd take him and Gillett. That, along with Lane, would soften any blow of the others departing
