    Jake T.

Jake is a great leader for Manly, in fact is often "the glue" that galvanises the team. But in reality, if this was not a Manly supporter site, I reckon many on here would not pick him if they were selecting the NSW team. Personally prefer to just see him play his usual wholehearted performances...

    Pre-Game Manly V Cowboys [Round 1, 2025]

Duffy can play all right - but a Huge assignment for a rookie at Brookie .... pardon the pun @:smirk: Robson is of course a danger, but this can be minimised if the Manly middle defence is rugged and in control, he won't get to zap out so easily from DH. Nanai is the bloke who always has a day...

It's a "Big year" or "Bust" for Aloiai !!

Every now and then Aloiai comes up with a strong game....even a couple in a row. But I'm gunna call it straight up, has been very disappointed with majority of his time at Manly. He had that enforcer type of image based on some tough rugged games for the battling Tigers and seemed a likely...

    Jake Simpkin signed until 2026

I reckon Simpkin will be the main dummy half and Tevaga will slot into multiple positions in 25 Tevaga adds some intensity, but can't see him as a genuine 9, but happy to see him have a Super game on Saturday

    Owen Pattie

Agreed about ruck leniency "in both cases".....but also feel a side will Win more time, if the contact is solid to win that initial collision and allow extra players to join the tackle and control the attacker and put them "on the ground"...an area Manly are off the pace in recent seasons

    Just Making up the numbers?

I agree Have a lot to prove Under the pressure cooker and competing with Penrith , Storm....clearly off the pace based on recent seasons but the improvement is the key....how much Will find out soon, as better Defence and performance under pressure is the only thing....players are here to give a...

    Defence

I agree...and watch the difference. Line speed is "off the pace" and there's reasons - Apart from Oka, the pack lack contacts often and the opposition bends our line, making it obvious when attempting to slow the play ball and it's penalty time. Also they generate more numbers in the tackle...

ST OPEN - DT Super coach Comp - "Just Fun"

100% The ppl who win seem to have a consistent reserves, where I stack the best players and have unknowns who are cheap and if I get a few injuries or at rep time, I score terrible 😅 But it's what I do...🤷‍♂️ It's worth looking at some cheaper positions and there will be a % next to every...

My top 10 experiences supporting Manly

I love every Manly Win, but personally the gutsy close games against the odds are every bit as good as flogging teams by 60. It's like so many different games with elite favourite players involved....I first got into footy as a lil kid in 80's and Manly had Blake, Boyd and a whole heap of others...

    We were blessed at centre

Always remember the try he scored, palming off a quality defender Matt Sing Manly were down against Roosters and got a charge down near half way, offload to Innes who raced away with Sing across in cover, he lands the right fend flush on Sing and splatters him, then raced away for the try and...

    Has Foran retired?

Far different playing styles more than luck, if comparing the playing styles of these 2. I'm a DCE fan and he is tough, just not near as rugged in footy styles. I reckon Forans the gutsiest and toughest half/5-8 just about to play the game, with Toovey the only other pit Bull who would rate...

    Trial V Panthers

Just on that trial, it showed why the Penrith junior system is so dominant and why when an injury occurs, a player can seamlessly jump in and play the role solid and sometimes even more. Manly looked like they hit a wall after copping some odd calls after scoring early and lacked composure to...
