Very true. I was going to mention them but did not want to push too hard. Again I like the guys as they bleed Manly and have played some cracking games but will we see a GF with them??? I think Zero return is a bit harsh Mick. He’s turned up a hell of a lot for us. Maybe not performed to our standard in every game but has taken the brunt of the whip and has been loyal for the money. It would not worry me if he went to another club. I love the guy but I would love Manly to win another premiership too. I don’t think we will win another premiership with DCE in the side. I would love to see bully.play for the full 80 min and would have no problem with him starting in the side for the next month or longer just to see how he would go. He’s got speed and runs with determination. He can even score tries.- grassy

Let’s see how we go this year. I’m thinking pretty much the same. I hope we do better. Would love to see us back on top after so long. We did better last year than I thought we would. I knew early on that we would not make the GF but did not expect to finish as good as we did.- grassy

I was thinking the same even before I posted my last two comments. Not so much comparing stats but mainly being the fact that they are two different players and results can vary. It’s just a thought. Last thing I want is out team to be playing a 70’s game in todays times.- grassy

Yea but to rely on leadership is not good enough. No player needs that if they are there to do a job. First grade footballers getting paid dollars to rely on leadership today needs reassessing. We already have a captain for that.- grassy

Jake is a hell of a defender but it’s 2025. You need speed too. These days you need to do it all. Slow players have their moments but very predictable in attack.I am far from an expert but Jake is very slow. Too slow I’m afraid. It can work with Jake but we need turbo as a regular and the like...- grassy
