    The NYC win last year was fantastic, but lets face it First Grade is was it's all about. We really need to ensure that our junior talent develops into established first graders (like the Turbo's). What we've recruited from elsewhere in terms of senior players has been embarrassingly disappointing.

    Hodko was the slowest half in the competition back in 2010 prior to his knee issues. Yes he can tackle and throw a good dummy, but even if anyone fell for it they'd round him up before he'd been able to run 2 metres. Prefer any of the alternative options.     I have not seen enough of 'Croker' Ryan, but agree with you on Hastings. If he was seriously going to make it in first grade he would have dominated in NSW Cup. His performances in that grade last season should have been the barometer of whether he had the skills and hunger to be a long term...
