    Gday Ryan - i read that Talau attributed his career year to losing quite a few kgs. Not sure about him putting the weight back on to try and play on the edge.

    For me, the issue here is that there are 4 players—Turbo, Lehi, Garrick, and Koula — that are capable of playing fullback. And all will be paid close to their value in that premier position. From memory Garrick is on 600k and Koula around 700k. And as you know only one can play there..i guess...

    The expansion in Super Rugby was a factor in killing that competition. Ok the NRL isn't going to die but diluting the product and forcing an expansion isn't a positive.

    As a 13 in the NRL, you need to have strength and or size, and desire to play with the big boys "in the middle" Last time i saw Arthur he was quite a skillful but thin half back. What am I missing as several posters on here think he can play 13?

    Agree with all of this. I do laugh at the sh!t Jake cops on here. He is still our second best forward behind Haumole. The reality is that if he hit the open market, he would get around 600-700k for 3 years, similar to what Finucane got from the Sharks. I would hope Jake has a lot more juice...
