Dean Martin had a few drinking offences
But that did not stop him from having a very successful career feathered friend
Wow where did you hear that? I've read that Dean Martin wasn't an alcoholic or even a heavy drinker, it was all just part of his showbiz persona.
What drinking offences are you referring to?

You are right about the real life Dean Martin feathered friend
I was only joking about his on stage showbiz persona
Cheers ! 🙂

There have been some high-functioning alcoholics ... but not very many, compared to the number of people who drink.
Just looked up Dean when you said he had offences, & found these quotes attributed to the Rat-pack

“Alcohol may be man’s worst enemy, but the bible says love your enemy”
“You’re not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on”
“Alcohol gives you infinite patience for stupidity”
“If you drink, don’t drive. Don’t even putt”
😱

I thought 5 years ago that the Fainus were going to be the centre piece of our team, the showed loyalty, faith and invested in them.

Well it all went to sh#$t!! They as a family let our club down. Manase did what he did and that was the end of him and the other three who were given their chances scarpered as soon as coin was dangled infront of them.

I was painful to watch two of them score against us in the Tigpies upset late in the season, it made me feel a bit angry as well.

I am glad as a club that we moved on from them, we need people who are invested in our cause!!

Very Wise Man was Dean Martin

The key word from your post is Faith feathered friend
Manase lost his faith and his foolish actions destroyed his brilliant career

After Scot Fulton left, The club decided to cut ties with the other talented Fainu brothers and invested else where

The moral of the story
Manase , The people running our club and all of us live and die with the decisions we all make

I didn't care that they scored. I was angry at the absolutely farcical refereeing display that allowed the tigers into the game at all.

The ref did not miss our tackles and score the tigers tries feathered friend

Resilience under adversity is what wins grand finals
and our inconsistency through the season epitomised our 40 point capitulation seasons exit against the Roosters

Conclusion ...
You dont build resilience by blaming refs for their mistakes
You build resilience by elimination your own mistakes and making vital tackles that save tries

The only good thing about the fainus is that they brought haumole to the club

I wouldn’t be angry at the referee but more so the NRL. In my eyes there was instructions from higher ups to get the Tigers the W at all costs. We all know why.
Yes it was almost blatant ..unbelievable

Why are we still talking about these guys?

Glad to see the back of them.
Unfortunately feathered friend
We wont see the back of them
Because we will see them back again next season when try and get another upset win against us

We All agree on one thing
Its No Fun Seeing the Fainus score against Manly

It's no fun being scored against by any player or team, why only single out the Fainu's Bozo ?

Of course we will see them.

But my point is why were we still talking about them? They are yesterday's news for Manly.

And given what Manase did and the reports on the rest of the boys' characters, then it's good riddance.

Think your blowing up their tyres a bit Bozo. Sam goes ok I guess, when he's not making mistakes or giving away stupid penalties. The rest, Tigpies can have em...

They blew their own tyres when they scored and contributed to their teams win in the last match against us feathered friend
And In 2025 all players have the last say including the Fainu boys
