That good for nothing useless piece of **** for a halfback.

Overall i agree, but I must say after the 1st 20 minutes and another ordinary option/kick, I mentioned to a mate this current form was why he isn't in SOO. Came good though....

    Stewart

State of origin just may be the kickstart to better things for Brett. He's played with more confidence and has shown more general involvement since his debut in SOO 2. He returns the ball from kicks better which I'm happy about! He's taking on the label as a rep player with ease.

    Call of the night

Anasta shouldn't have been there, but i thought Kimmorley was one of our best. Not many of the forwards stood up and he was left posted a number of times. Never thought I'd be sticking up for Kimmorley?? What an awesome game from Brett. Mini's rep days should be over.

    Matt Orford.

Agree Flip, and you said something positive after his good game which we can all enjoy, but i didn't really understand why the Monas agenda got thrown in our faces, nor the 40 odd headbutts? He played very well last night, so good on him. We do need him to stay consistant for the remainder of...

    Defence

very average spectacle. I thought matai came back well. Very littlw was used of Burns despite orford's average form. All players were solid without being brilliant, except orford who has been disappointing. Still, a win is a win, but Des has to do something about the lack of space/creativity in...

agree, Monas can certainly hold his own, but offers more in utility value than the starting 3.

    Questions for Byso

HAHAHAHA....sitting home on a sickie, not feeling well, and this made me laugh! Mata, orford is the better half (although probably not at this point of time due to injury and fitness), but since when has anyone replied to your petty rants over the last 12ish months saying monas was the better...

    Off-Contract Players

Therefore a 1st grade NRL club doesn't announce signings cause it's not worth the hassle with rumours? hehe I can re-call the main site not having any official announcement about Orford, but it was plastered all over the news at the time, and also I seem to find news whenever they sign people...

Gotta agree, good chance club went that avenue. You say it's fact?

    Rumour of Burns to Titans

Just a rumour in RLW, saying Burns is being tightlipped about his future. Hopefully now that the news is made public, we'll hear something from Burns shortly in regards to this. If manly do let Monas sign with another club within the 3 weeks, they would have to keep Burns. Burns must be...

    Questions About Monaghan

    1. I'd imagine he can see the position Manly are in with Burns, orford and ballin at the club. It was worth asking knowing that Manly may also favour this option considering Ballin and Burn's contract needs to be upgraded, and you don't want fair $$ sitting on the bench or PL. They've given him...

    100 Games

It's just good to see King firing again...after showing some potential in his 1st year or 2, this is the form we have been begging from him the last couple of years. Let's hope for further consistancy!

    Polish and 1 gripe

Good to see Orford back...was good in defence. No brainer we need him there and agree he and Hicks's play was class, bit i thought the attack was the same 'ole, same 'ole. Hopefully his injury is nearly back to 100% so the backline plays will improve over time.

    choc

i don't live on this forum like you do, so I am lucky to add 5 posts a week. You will find i added my thoughts on some subjects after last weeks game for example - so keep the facts to your rants. Re: flogging a dead horse, that's twice you've jumped on me with the same comment...and...

    Interesting Stats

Manly were starting to get a little sloppy in defence in the remaining 30 or so minutes of the game, as you could expect in the conditions, but still won the game on their defence. All of the starting pack were good today....Kit's effort was enormous. King is a different player this year...

Couldn't have said it better myself. Flips post is a perfect example of...what's the saying...pot...kettle...black.... Just enjoy your own backyard and move on from putting other sites down to make ourselves feel better. I'm a MSE poster (occasionally like here), and it's not real different...

[moved] Does hiding the salary hide the hidden agendas

So... if Des didn't think Monas was in his plans and having got Orford in the end...why does Des still pick him each week in front of ballin etc..therefore continuing to riun what des is striving to achieve, as you put it?? I don't think Des picks team on salary, nor would feel that Des feels he...

    Monaghan...... MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well said about the re-hash comments Nutz. About Burns, still had a solid game, but kicking was ordinary at times - BUT the main thing is he has removed the crap from his game, that is a massive bonus.

    Man of the Match??

yeah Monas, had a good game - still some ordinary kicks, but ably filling in at #7. I thought Burns's kicking game a little off tonight. I know it's hard to resist for some, but let's not bother with the Mata thing, it's old. He'll get his day when manly have a loss and all of a sudden he...
