    Best Thing About Parra Stadium

    I hate Parra Stadium . I was out there with a couple of mates. We were down in bay # 40 (corner) in front of where Menzies scored. We were fortunate enough to have quite a few Manly supporters around us and the few Parra fans that were around us seemed decent enough. Just luck of the draw , I guess.

    Disappointing ?

    I was disappointed with the crowd. I was expecting at least 10,000. We were standing on the north western corner under a few golf umbrellas. I'd much prefer to be at the game than have to listen to the Channel # 9 commentary team. Well done to the Manly fans that made the effort !

    Brookvale Oval alight!

    Excellent camera work ! Amazing atmosphere at Brooky on Sat night. Very entertaining and stressful game. That game was very similar to our 1 point victory over the Bulldogs in our last home match last season. Orford kicked the winning field goal from a similar position. Bring on the Panthers !

    I watched the Roosters game and thought Minichiello played ok. He outshone Stewart in the City / Country game. I'm being a bit selfish but I'd rather Stewart be kept fit and healthy for Manlys premiership assault. His time will come.

    I would also favour North Sydney Oval . A crowd of 12,000 at NSO would look good on TV. I'm fairly confident that Warringah Shire Council will grant Manly approval to stage this game at Brooky Oval. This game is 2 days before Origin # 1 ? Therefore , no Bronco Rep players.

    I live at Elanora Heights ( only 3 mins drive ) from Narrabeen Sports Academy. I called in a few mornings last season to have a look at the training. They are normally there from 8am midweek for a few hours. I'll call in one morning and try and give you guys an update of what I see.
