    I think we can all see his passion for the club. It was just a matter of Lyall making it clear to him that he needs to be actively supporting the club and not just in the background.

    We know that Anderson is as quick as they come and Elliott has decent pace as well. Yet to see what Garrick has in terms of footwork and pace but I think he'll be alright. The good thing is that we now have some competition there, so hopefully we see some quality on the edges next year.

    Crusher Back

    Hasler will focus on defence which is exactly what this team needs. I think we all know that with a bit of structure, this team can score plenty of points. If Des provides a bit of structure in attack and adds some starch in defence then that will go a long way in getting back to finals footy.

    We have a tall winger now in Reuben Garrick who by all accounts is terrific under the high ball. Between him, Taufua, Anderson and Brendan Elliott, our wing stocks are looking much better than they were last season.

    Shows to me that Lyall Gorman has the potential to be one of Scott's best decisions with the club so far. He really does value our feedback.

    Mate, I couldn't help but jump on the optimism here. It's like Christmas has come early on Silvertails after months of doom and gloom. Never a good place for logic.

    Turbo the centre.

    Turbo Tom will come back as a fullback and will be the best in the NRL next year. When Dessie came in last time he had a young fullback named Brett Stewart who he quickly coached to be one of our best ever. Tom will get the guidance he needs to be one of the best fullbacks in the game.

    I thought he handled it alright. He didn't try to answer questions that should have been asked of Penn and Gorman but instead took control of the conference and answered relevant questions with class.

    Paint the Ammo in the dressing room

    I can smell it in the air. The real Manly are back. The media are already writing us off but they haven't seen Manly play for 3 years now. This is Des at his best. I haven't felt this excited since 2014.
