    Rugby 7's

Haven’t watch rugby live for many years. Got tired of seeing us get smashed in the bledisloe…for so many years.. Looks like some good fun. Enjoy !

Thanks for the clarification. I think we can agree that we would like to see better outcomes for Indigenous Australia. Ideally constitutional recognition is one way of achieving this as long as imo it is for the right reasons, not an excuse for a influential radical minority to access money...

No mate, so much info flying around. I will try to find it. Yeah I am not surprised about the US. that’s one of the reasons I asked, the other and main reason was the diversity of tribes and diverse representation required to make it work…as this would more closely relate to Australia then say NZ.

Hey mate, I believe I have responded to this. I think if this question has serious utility in our group exchange of opinions it needs to be specifically framed at a poster who is of the opinion that under no circumstance whatsoever!!they would consider this as an option in some way … from I...

We clearly see this differently. I don’t see the utility in answering your question which you are framing from your perspective.. I think we just agree to disagree and move on. I don’t see an exchange of opinion as one person constantly having to answer the other’s questions like some legal...

As I said choice is not always binary. Say if at work someone said to you that in order keep your job you needed to cheat on your partner. ( yes not a likely circumstance) I think it would be reasonable for you to conclude that you had no reasonable choice…. But to quit your job… but saying...

To add to my above points the answer is yes there is a choice, but in reality choices like this are not always binary.. I would suggest that the choice imposed upon the players was unnecessarily uncomfortable for them to say yes.. thus in a sense , no choice…..

I think framing this through the second person perspective may assist. I also see no correlation between a life threatening circumstance you describe and this… would you try to force a Muslim to break away from ramandan ? ..

I think the players were placed into a circumstance where they were forced to choose between how they exercise their religion ( rightly or wrongly) and playing the game. This was a completely foreign circumstance that they were not apparently consulted on. I think we can get caught up in all...

Some good points. I hope we are viewed on more on what we do as individuals with less emphasis on our propositions say in social media etc but the true aspects of our character of what actions we take where there is no virtue to be claimed…

Understand mate. But making death threats or implying violence on another is actually against the law and this is now enforced on line …

Anyone effectively breaking the law , threatening the safety of others should not be heard because they are breaking the law… they are openly threatening others…

In regards to rainbow gate I suspect I sat on the opposite side of the fence. Like most others like me I would assume we would all still like to see better outcomes for the LGBTQI community but do not feel compellingly sports people to wear jerseys etc is not the right way to go about it. Imo...

I can see why you have this view. But in order for any forum to work people need to be able tolerate views they don’t like ( on both sides of the spectrum) I guess a forum like this can go in either two directions. They being 1. an echo chamber for the most palatable consensus view. 2. A place...

I hope your insights are correct mate. I am still unsure how this symbolism will address important issues impacting Indigenous communities such as much higher rates of family violence ect. There are reports that suggest statistics like this “ Indigenous females and males were 35 and 22 times as...
