    I will be absolutely shocked if Jake Arthur can turn into a good lock. He would need to put on 20kg of muscle to defend in the middle and bend the line. I do like the out of the box thinking though and i do agree Jake T needs to be moved from 13.

    I'm surprised you didn't stop watching the game after the shoulder charge was eliminated. Sounds like the kickoff change will be the final nail in the coffin for you.

    I'll take the side of 4 different employers.....absolutely. Thats just common sense. But hey maybe its them and not him? And that's nothing personal as i said I'm ok having Lodge on the team if it's low risk for Manly i.e. low dollar, short duration contracts.

    Lodge didn't get shafted by the Roosters. He was let go because they didn't want him on the team. He did what he has always done in his career at Easts. Starts off well through his power and intimidation and then wears out his welcome. It has happened 4 times now. I'm ok giving the guy another...

    Agree that the forwards look better this year. Sipley in particular has turned from a fringe first grader to a really impactful player in the last 9 months. Aloiai is also somewhere back to his best (although littered with poor discipline). Brown has been impressive in a short sample size. Back...

    I think Lodge's two-game performance last year has been pretty glorified on Silvertails. I'm ok to have him on low coin at the club but those who think he is going to be a game-changer throughout a season will be disappointed. I'll take a 9-year sample size over 2 games.

    Agree Mark. This would have perhaps got messy in court and Manly might have had to pay him all or most of the contract out if it went Schuster's way. We just don't know. At least now Manly can move on.
