    Agree that he's not being signed as the answer, but he was still poor in defence today. That's not reactionary, just an observation. I think he's a decent signing but he was still shown up today, regardless.

    Yeah it wasn’t good. There was a bit of Kieran Foran circa 2021-2022, about the way he was torched by Walsh for the first try in the comeback. His lack of speed at 31 is not going to improve in the next four years 😳

    You can never say never; Foran probably never thought he’d be mentoring others in a coaching role when he hit rock bottom. I guess I don’t really like Schu though. I think he was arrogant about his talent and played for himself.

    I don't get the feeling they're trying to gauge market value, instead, I think he's considering retiring from the NRL due to injury. He probably figures he has another year left at this level, and then he can put the constant pressure and scrutiny of the NRL behind him and just enjoy his footy.

    He was a late bloomer and the media released a few puff pieces about his perseverance. He can scoot and that’s about it, hence his release from Penrith.

    I’ve gone cold on the idea of Hoppa at 1. He’s a great last line in defence and safe under the high ball but as he has put weight on to handle the rigours of FG, he’s lost pace. He’s also not much of a ball player. I really like him but think he might be a winger.
