Lockyer and Laurie Daley (as Australian selectors) chose Slater, i understand Locker but Daley must be so bitter after Freddie won in his first year as coach.

Manly fans have given Tom Turbo a lot of ****, but I think he was probably in the top 5 players of the series. Jake probably up there as well.

We are very lucky we have these 2 champions who are willing to bleed for our club.

If we move him to the wing we will be blessed lol

I honestly think that we (Manly) are wasting the considerable talent of our players. Mostly through poor coaching and organisation.

It cannot be coincidence that Tom and DCE have been flaky at club level this year, yet both had their best games of the year by far at Origin level.

With any luck this will be a light bulb moment for the club.

That’s fine. I just think you are harsh on him. He had a top game - even Joey said he was the Blues best tonight. He made no errors all series - no dropped balls, no blunders. He was our most dangerous player along with Cook tonight.

Absolutely as someone on here said a few days ago champions are not soufflés they can rise more than once !!infact I think it was me who said it so it must be true!

I hope Barrett had a good hard look at how Manly's three young players dominated SOO. All three had stand out games, DCE all over Cleary, Jake easily the highest tackle rate, Tom easily the most yardage All three were great and I'm especially pleased DCE dominated and put substantial egg on the doubters...where are you Tallis. With those Three and Walker, Kelly, AFB, Taupau, Api etc Manly should be far further up the ladder. And still he leaves Tom Wright in the Reggies.

Laurie Daley has no business being involved in a selection or coaching capacity - consistently got it wrong as a blues selector, the blues coach and now this. Top player but that’s where it ends.

As a NSW supporter, I couldn't be happier for Daly, have been cheering for him. He showed them what he can do.
