Shouldn't this decision on obstruction only be where the ball was caught... it looked very close to being on the outside shoulder, which would mean Ravalawa completely missed the man, which he did, and just tackled the wrong person

Ravalawa was no chance of getting to the player even if Ford wasn't there. Refs have given the green light for that before but the NRL is consistently inconsistent.
