Really looking forward to this one with much anticipation and confidence.

We were unlucky to be dealt two wet weather games in a row to start the season and now with a dry track we can implement our set plays and strategies that we have been focusing on over the last 6 months.

Tom will change the dynamics of our attack and DCE and Jake will have more options with him roaming around up the middle, keeping the opposition in split minds.

Would like to see Elgey take the line on more when he has some space to utilise his speed and acceleration off the mark.

Forget about busting your guts for an extra 4 or 5 post contact metres, keep the momentum going with fast play the balls and easy metres up the middle and we can really get the points flowing in this game.

Certainly had the Warriors measure for a good part of last season "s clash there , particularly in the forwards until the negative tactics of kicking out on the sixth and some other dumb play by our halves set in and contributed to the eventual bad loss . Hopefully D C E and Elgey can have their Mojos going OK , the forwards can largely get the better of the Warrior "s pack again and Tom can add some vital spark from the back . Sipley and Waddell seem to be able cover reasonably well for Lane "s previous role but again think that Siro still needs to step up a bit . Just watching a good part of the Broncs - Dragons alst night seemed to show the benefit of playing with a high energy and up tempo mode , Hope that Manly take the same approach going forward and even just trying to play some decent attacking footy like the 2 nd half against the Roosters will no doubt help also .

If we play smart, controlled and patient no frills footy for the first 20 and win the arm wrestle, we can really pile on the points later in the game if our big 3 are on their games (Tom, DCE and Jake).

Maybe I should start being positive and tipping Manly. Bit hard though when we play like a busted sh**ter.

cmon Mick, in both games so far we have managed 30 minutes of decent play.

Now we just need the games to be shortened to 1 half and we might crack a win.

There are plenty of positives to be positive about

Big Speedy game breaker Turbo charger is back and is just one of them

Raise your glasses feathered friends .....

Lets all drink to a Manly Sea eagles revival

I always love the optimism in these pre game threads ........ over the past few season it has often made humorous reading after the game or even half way through our latest outing ......

Ahh C'mon, we are always very measured!

MANLY TO WIN!!! 100% put everything you own on it

22-10, tries to Garrick, Turbo, Gosie and Elgey..........Yeeeeeeeeeew

Until the other team score the first try and we revert to fighting amongst our selves about Barrett, Dessie, Parker and whoever is the whipping boy of the week ......

Negative again feathered friend . You never give up do you

I think this is part of the problem to a point. Our team Almost expects oppositions to fold if we play smart and patient. As most haven't thus far, the well is dry in terms of alternative ideas and strategy after 20 minutes , and then they just go random

Strike early an hard and hope it pays off, if not , release the puppies

Weather forecast says partly cloudy for tomorow. Finally get to see us in a dry weather game, fingers crossed

We scored only one try against the Tigers in round one and 3 against the Roosters in game 2 which is a sign of improvement

Tom Turbo our strike back is back and will surly add to our game and we should see further progress

This is a load of nonsense.
Tent and Hoppa Jrn are not back for round 3.
What about Funa, Croker and Anderson?
