Im not sure that our biggest sponsor now being associated with another club is a good sign.

They went missing off the away jersey half way through the year replaced by URM as well.

How long will Lottoland be called Lottoland is the question?
Lottoland was only on the jersey as Manly didn't finalize a Jersey Sponsor till later in the season.

Gorman's priority would be to sign up new, major sponsors :nerd:

I don't believe they are associated with the Titans, this jersey was apparently just a one-off draft. Then again, i'm not an all-knowing being, although.. ;)

I remember when we had Halfpennies, Pennies, Threepences, Sixpences, Shillings and Florins (2 Shillings) and you could buy a Streets Paddle Pop for Threepence.

But do you remember farthings. I think I remember seeing them when I was a child. They ceased being minted in 1956 and were dropped from our currency in 1960. You didnt see too many of them. Back then there were a lot of half pennies but not so many farthings.

Nope, I know of them but I don't remember ever seeing any of them (mind you, I was only born in the last quarter of 1961 so I was pretty young when decimal currency came out in 1966 and when it did, you could still use the old 6d, Shillings & 2 shilling Florins as 5, 10, & 20 cent pieces for years after that until they disappeared from circulation).

A newspaper wrapper full of hot chips after school used to be 5 cents , me and my best mate used to go halves. It was a Friday arvo treat, I’d pay 3 cents one week and 2 the next.

And I’d suggest it would be the same amount you’d now get for about $6.

Would have been about 1963-64.

And you could get a bag of lollies for 10 cents and there would be at least 20 lollies now you get 1 for 10 cents

On the subject matter maybe if we change Brookvale Oval to Brookvale Rectangular we might get immediate funding
Yeah, or you could get, 20 cobbers, or freckles, 40 caramel butters, 10 musk sticks etc etc
