BREAKING: Origin hero Michael Jennings arrested and charged for offensive behavior on last night - details @telegraph_sport ASAP

    http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/spo...-1227407136670

NSW State of Origin star Michael Jennings has been arrested and charged with offensive behaviour after an overnight drinking session in Parramatta.
The man-of-the-match from Wednesday night’s game in Melbourne was arrested at approximately 2.30am in the company of one of his brothers.
His club the Sydney Roosters were notified on Saturday morning and have reported the incident to the NRL integrity unit.
“We are still waiting for more details,” said Roosters chief executive Brian Canavan.
“He’s been squeaky clean with us at the Roosters and that’s why this is so surprising.

“From a club point of view we’re really disappointed he was out at that time of night.”
The Roosters will release a statement later today.

Well Daley will have to drop him like he did with Pearce over his drunken outing @

I am always amazed at the quantity that these fit, huge body mass, young men must consume, to end up so blotto @

Didn't Jenko do the same at Penrith and it led to his release?

Because he plays for the Roosters then there are different rules applied because of Uncle Nick. Remember Todd Carneys DUI ?? that earned him a very stern cup of coffee with Goose Gallop. I expect Michael will be told in a slightly raised voice that he has been very, very naughty and to not do it again. Anyway we all know it's not his go.

Gees that its really disappointing to hear about this. NSW finally get a team that can really build their own history and he does that. Gus got rid of him at the Riff because of this and the guy has not learnt.

If there is any consistency he must be dealt with and a big fine and suspension must result.

    Bloody idiot!!

The only thing consistent about the NRL is the level of inconsistency.

Snake got 4 weeks because of the rape allegation. But the NRL couldn't admit that publicly because they went off half cocked, so then they had to lie and say it was about the only thing they could pin on him - the "drunkenness".

The boomgate at the centre of the assault has said he is traumatized, and emotionally scarred from the flogging he received, when pressed further he broke down in tears, with doctors fearing he has early signs of watergate.
