Also, Parcell brought on in the last 25 minutes is going to destroy those fat and slow Doggies props around the ruck. Cant wait to see him go berserk, so explosive

Kick-off in the U20s match is 5.45pm. Gates open 5.30pm.

It will be followed by the NRL match at 8.05pm. What happened to the 7pm kick off?
We are a bit out of sync to the start of the year without your game day threads!

Thats one strong unit . Very happy with that .. great backline with youth experience and speed , an awsome pack and x factor on the bench.

haha DCE looked like he wanted to punch on!

Interesting team. Surprised Leary made it. Thought there'd be another prop in there. Maybe Mateo will play up the middle. He's got the ass power to do it.

That NSW Cup team looks pretty handy too.

Wonder is it anything to do with two less interchanges??

I am happy that Api will start in the 9...There is so much more to the hooking role than simply being quick...he provides great service and has a huge motor for chopping down the big dogs pack.

As predicted, Lussick is getting a start. I like this. He is angry and aggressive. If he doesn't aim up after a few weeks, he has some pretty decent replacements nipping at his heels.

I'd be tempted to drop Leary off the bench and give Vave a start against a side like the Dogs, especially with two lightweights in the back-row.

Regardless, this looks like a great side.

Got to say I liked the team announcement video, hopefully they keep that up all season and the questions to the coach on team selections

Would have gone a different direction against the biggest pack. Api to NSW Cup for match fitness, Pacell to 9, bench of Lawrence / Starling / Lussick / Mateo, Vave 18th man.

Looking at this team we are likely to be steamrolled up the middle. Heaven help us if we get an injury to a Prop.
