I think if this team takes the park it's a sign that Barrett is planning to make the reduced interchange a huge part of the game plan.

I like Api starting. He's got more FG experience and Parcell is probably more effective coming off the bench to use his speed against all those tired dogs props.

The Dogs have 6 props in their team & we have 3. Hmmm, is Hasler right or Barrett. They can't both be right.
By 1030 pm on fri we will have a fair idea about everything. Barrett's selections may be a masterstroke.

We cant gift them easy possesion. Turn their big boppers around and make them run it out of their own 10 every time.
If they start to weary late in the game i think we have points in us across the park.

Leary will sub in for kapow at lock, darcy and mateo will play middle forward prop roles, mateo will have good impact off the bench hopefully,

Not many props, but quite a few 80 min players.
My take on it is thus:
Barrett has the squad primed for a faster play the ball more up tempo style of play.
I thing there are enough props(just) for 50 mins of tough stuff, and if they get on top the faster/smaller back rowers should tear them apart.

Okay it id merged...let me know if you want me to go through and clean up the posts or if everyone is happy as is

We're there - just sorted our GA tkts, taking 2 Bulldogs-fan mates, 1 of whom has never been to Brookie.

Gonna drive down (from Newie up here) to Manly in the arvo, swim @ the beach, couple of beers @ The Steyne, then up to Fortress Brookvale for the game!

Lookin' forward to it, Go Manly!

Trbojevic can play 80
Koroisau can play 80
Brown can play 80
Green can play 80
Parcell can play 80
Leary can play 80
Mateo can play 80

I'm a bit confused I see more than half our forwards can play 80

Jake - front rower won't play 80
Koroisau - first game back from injury doubt he is able to play 80
Brown - first game back from injury doubt he is able to play 80
Green - ex-centre who hasn't played in the forwards for a long time Doubt he is able to play 80
Parcell - initial first grade game. Also coming off a hamstring injury Wouldn't want to rely on him playing 80
Leary - yes agree
Mateo - he would want to be a lot fitter to be able to play 80 consistantly
