Thought I'd start this early but expect it to get ramped up a fair bit after Wednesday night.

    Things to discuss.

Will the Bronco's be at full strength?

If so (or not) can we beat them?

Are you going and if so where are you seated?

Are you going to the official post match function?

NO tickets left in my allocation (the MWTS group is in Bay 301), there's 120 of us in there now wish I had bought 150...oh well can't be helped.

Suggest if you haven't bought a ticket yet to the game head for Bay 725 up where the rest of the Manly supporters "should" be.

I can probably squeeze a few more into our pre game function at the Caxton Hotel (at cost) e-mail me if you are keen to join us MK (or anyone else)...this goes from 4.00pm to 6.30pm.

I am not sure if the post match official (meet the players) function is still available suggest you check that out on www.mwse.com.au

No - i don't think Broncos will be full strength. They'll rest Locky for sure..
Yes - only have one player backing up. Snake should be back to help guide defence.
I was going.. very upset I'm not :(

We must smash the Broncos. They're my most hated team by far. Was glad to have the bye this week so we are fresh for them.

Depends on how they back up from Wednesday?

We normally do (Queensland...we always win in Queensland...!)

Wouldn't miss it for the world! (Looking forward to seeing you all at the Caxton for the MWTS pre-game get together!!)

Will be with the MWTS (Will be strange not to be in bay 317?)

No unfortunately, would be too late a night for number 1 son as we have an early start and a big day the next day as well so maybe a quiet (!) celebratory cold one at the Caxton post Manly game and then home to bed. (BTW the Official post match function sold out a long time ago so for any waifs and strays looking for a friend after the game then head there? (The outside bar/carpark bar))

    By the way...Other info:

There are a few heading up from Sydney on Friday morning on flights around 11.00'ish – As usual, if you're looking to catch up pre-flight aim for the food hall at domestic (Macca's end)

For those not familiar with travel to Brisbane games - the train from the airport is a quick and easy way to get to town http://www.airtrain.com.au/

Kids travel free from the airport - http://www.airtrain.com.au/kidstravelfree.php

On game day your match ticket gives you free travel
    http://www.suncorpstadium.com.au/Event_Info/Public%20Transport.aspx

Pre-game at the ground there are plenty of food and beverage options around so you'll have no problems finding them especially on Caxton (but remember it is a double header and the whole area is likely to chockers?)

In the local area Park Road in Milton is an option if you want to eat/drink prior to the game but away from the stadium http://www.ourbrisbane.com/food-and-drink/dining-precincts/milton (Funnily, It’s where I first met Mark before a Manly Brisbane game a million years ago...)

See Mark's post on page 1 of this thread if you want to join us at the Caxton for the MWTS pre-game get together – Important note: You will need to pre-register for this and pay prior as there will be no sign ins or walk ups on the day and there are apparently few tickets left (Again, the whole area around Suncorp is going to be mad busy - this is the best way to get a good feed and a relaxed drink and get revved up for the game with other Manly fans in a relaxed and secure area before the game so definitely the place to be?)

    Marks email is mark@ambassadorholidays.com.au

Not long now boys and girls…!

Safe travels and see you there!

Nope, they are a bunch of pussies!! (Love it if Lockyer got injured and missed Beaver's record by a game ;))
Yes, we can. Whether we do is another matter all together.
Yes, as per Brookie...tell me where I am sitting mark and I'll be there.
Post Match function is a yes.

PS the drum is currently in GC and will arrive on Friday. Am awaiting confirmation from the club as to how to get it in (have permission but want to get it into the ground before the gates open).

I am flying up early Wednesday to see my NSW boys lose another game ;) But I'll be flying my colours proudly!! Anyone that is there and would like to meet up for a drink PM me and I'll give you my mobile number.

Sundance is staying at the Watermark on Wednesday as well....why don't you come down to my office (not that far from the Watermark) and Chris and I will take you to the Caxton Car Park (the only place to be on Origin night) for a few pre game drinks.

ROBO IS OUT OF THIS GAME.

    http://www.mwse.com.au/default.aspx?s=article-display&id=37124&title=sea-eagles-exclusive-michael-robertson-ruled-out-for-friday

WOW. Such a shame his streak will come to an end at 139 games! Such a legend.

I'd concur with Vid the whole area will be madness (as it will be tomorrow night when we roll up for SOO 1).....I don't think the game is a sellout BUT I have been to the last 2 or 3 double headers up here and it's not uncommon for them to have 50,000 plus attend, so not really much different to a normal SOO night.

    SO

Caxton Car park pre game will be total madness, but I'd expect that's where a lot will be (that are not coming to my pre game shindig).

I can fit a few more in (not at the door as we have to add extra catering if you book now and there won't be enough food for another 10 if they just turn up on the night) at the MWTS pre game get together at the Caxton Hotel....its $55.00 and includes a heap of food and your first two drinks.

The Hotel LA (at the top of Caxton Street and on the corner of Petrie Terrace and Caxton) is another spot to head.

There are other bars along Caxton Street but they will be dearer (drinks wise) so perhaps stay clear of them.

If you want a less noisy place Park Road in Milton (easy to get from there to Suncorp as Park Road runs off Milton Road and Suncorp faces Milton Road) is a good spot, lots of restaurants along there and much slower pace.

One more option is the Paddo...the Padington Hotel further up Caxton Street and on the western side of Suncorp, still crowded but just a further option to consider, if you come in from the city just walk down Caxton Street, past Suncorp (on your left) and a little further up you'll find the Paddo!!

And there's always "Love and Rockets" in Petrie Terrace...you can Google that, probably better AFTER the game than before the game.

Have fun guys and any questions just ask away!!
