Sorry, it's been 24 years since I had the chance to say that.

Great stuff! The Aussies can add that to the trophy case along with the missing prize against Bangladesh. Suckers.

It's a shame the win will be shanghaid into a propoganda tool for Mugabe.

Tuesday nights soccer, and I care.

I love the footy at the moment. How good is it to finally have a national comp like the A-League?

I just read the SMH and it said that there were bets on Australia to win with Sportsbet of 400k @ $1.01 and $2.8M @ $1.02 . Ouch. Idiots and LLLLosers!
    :stupid:

Why would you want to hit a cow in the arse with a banjo?

Zimbabwe joys was short lived. I believe the Aussies smashed the Poms which cut the Zims.

Question is - is this real cricket or just a bit like the 10 year olds running around at half time in a league game?

People probably asked the same sort of questions when one-day cricket first came to fruition. I think it is just a part of the natural evolution of the game. While it may piss some traditionalists off at the end of the day it is an exciting format which will bring plenty of people through the gate- why wouldn't you run with it.
