I did a quick search and surprisingly this guy doesn’t have his own thread yet.

What’s the feeling on his potential to turn into an NRL player? Based on the stats he appears to be a workhorse type backrower who tackles his heart out. I don’t mind that as a way to balance our team.

I've rated him highly for many years in our juniors. A local product who was captain of our SG Ball team that did quite well with guys like Tolu and Weekes a few years ago. Great tackling technique with high footy IQ. Major injury set him back a season or two. Hoping he is putting pressure on Ben by season's end. Potentially a great player of the future

I'm a big wrap on Zane. He's still a baby as far as an NRL forward goes. But I think there's pretty good odds he will follows his old man's steps into the Manly pack.

Haven’t seen him play live for a few years now, my thoughts on him.

Good talent that is versatile and has strong defensive skills. Can play lock or on an edge, he possesses a solid frame that allows him to engage effectively in tackles and make crucial tackles, contributing significantly to the team's defensive line.

Has agility and mobility which helps him to support attacking plays, providing options in both ball-handling and offloading situations.

Dunford demonstrates strong work ethic on the field, often going the extra yard in supporting teammates and maintaining high energy levels throughout matches.

Some word that he had a big offseason his first full offseason since doing his ACL, some people are of the view he will debut this season and be a chance of nailing a spot in the 17.

A bit of irony, but he actually reminds me a bit of the son of Mule - Zac Hosking for Canberra. Not super flash, but does the hard work, and does it well.

Happy to have Dave's boy at Man too. Club could do worse than consider the younger son who's at the sharks in a development spot.
