Your favourite new player 2023

A serious question Maxta but have you seen Latu Fainu play? The reason I ask is that he seemed to have a stellar year in HM 2 years ago. Since then he has been injured for long periods of time. I did not see the SG Ball game on the weekend but reports are that he was underwhelming. I have not seen him picked in junior rep footy teams (could be wrong) so I wonder why he is not on the radar of NSW junior rep selectors. Is he the real deal?

Yes I have seen Latu in action and I 100% feel this kid very similar to Manase, but even better.
If the stars align he will be a Star, but I will add there are many pitfalls on the way to a long NRL career and as much as I feel hopeful and confident, only time will tell.
He has suffered a few injuries and Manly in this grade have lost a few good players around him, I feel we will see him from 2024 onwards, but who knows later in the 2023 season is a possibility.
