Yesterday wasnt so bad

Our players clearly have their minds on this weekends game. Playing against a team like the Sharks was always going to be tough, and was always going to be tougher with 12 men. They are a fit side who have pushed most teams to the wire all season.

We struggle going wide at anytime, with them playing up and in with only 12 only made our task harder.

Orfords kicking game really let us down again yesterday, we needed repeat sets and hardly got any.

I'm glad we got away with the win as we needed to but i'm not slitting my wrists just yet.

40% of the ball against any team is almost mission impossible. That they only scored two tries, both from kicks and one of them very questionable says that our line defence was okay.

The mistake rate was appalling but it was not isolated to one player but right across the paddock. Concentration and then desperation didn't help.

My biggest concern was the number of off-loads they seemed to be able to make, when players should have been wrapped up.

Not the end of the world, but maybe we are again flying under the radar!!!
