On the flip side Wendell Sailor was a "sensation" in union.  His "must play me in 1st XV" clause cost Australia a World Cup and then he found the white line.

Tuqiri struggling to crack the Wobblies now too.

Rocky Elsom couldn't make the grade with the bulldogs but now plays for Australia in rugby.

Tony Daly (and Doug Rollerson) though.

These two were pure class - Doug Rollerson is my all time favourite union convert - he fitted in so well to the Bears

I wonder if Manly bought Jorgen Rogers from union?  What about Darryl Neville?  Surely he was a union convert?  Bernard Dywer?  Luke Dorn has all the skills of a union 5/8.

Ross Windshuttle and Mitchell Cox were two good union converts.  Gary Munday never quite made it thuogh.  Too busy at Queenscliff lagoon.

Keith Blackett was a senastional convert from Rugby Union. Only the great Wombat was able to stop him from securing a regular 1st grade spot.

Craig Innes, Matthew Ridge, Frano Botica, Inga The Winger and John Kirwan are a few All Blacks off the top of my head.

edit: Just remembered Brad Thorn, Andrew Walker and Mat Rogers as well.

The current Wallaby No 8 Cliffy Palau was an abject failure at St George and did nothing, going on to be a top player instantly in Super 14.
